Back Into The World
I am ready to admit that up until now in life, I've pretty much just been like.. "I'm going to start doing that" and then I start doing it. And sometimes it's gone pretty well, meaning that I've been able to make headway in that field. Acting was a big one, enjoyed lots of success there relatively speaking, for someone who never had any formal training until after being in it. Had quite a few experiences that other people and I would consider accomplishments in that field, was working quite a bit for a good stretch of time.. Yoga, similarly, was something that I just jumped into, and practiced a ton til the point that I was experiencing vibrations that felt angelic, much like when I meditate a lot or do lots of breathwork, etc.
Many of you know my story, and you know that for the past few years I wasn't coming out too much. I was recalibrating and attempting to figure out what to do moving forward. And to be honest, I don't feel that enough answers came to justify all of the isolation. I do believe that some of it was warranted and aligned, but the reason I believe I went overboard with it is because more clarity has come through action than from inaction. What am I talking about?
Well, I've had the inner knowing that I receive bodily intuition. I've known this since engaging in quite a few yoga journeys, assisting people in stretching and all of this. But what I haven't truly been able to pin down in a conclusive manner, is specifically how to put it to use in the most aligned way that also assists me in creating a lifestyle for myself and my family.
So in figuring out what to do with the rest of my life, I decided that the best thing I could do, is to take a step back and allow curiosity to get me more reps. Let me track it.
1. I know I have a dope bodily intuitive gift but not that many people are paying me to share it
I'm romantic about the idea of sharing my gift with the World with no regard for financial gain, knowing that doing so creates so much great Karma that gets us paid in one way or another. But that's not realistic for the way the World works or the way my being likes to operate either. When I'm showing up the way I enjoy showing up, confident, enjoying my life, feeling great, I'm making money too, it's part of what that visualization looks and feels like. When I'm in that mode, I'm vibrating with an abundant resonance that empowers me very much, that's where I enjoy my life a ton.
Making this an ongoing reality means gaining proficiency. So I knew what I had to do. Go back into the World. Get a job. Get a ton of reps. Learning how a ton of different bodies react to all sorts of different movements, what helps them recover from all sorts of pain and different manifestations of inflammation in all different body parts, how energy shifts in response to different types of movement, cardio, weight training, leaning into the curiosity and being open to observing anything and everything the body might do, in the name of getting way more familiar with how the body works. That way, whatever happens with the energy work I do, however that works its way into what I'm developing and the embodiment I'm creating within, no matter what, I'm learning everyday about the body, which is my domain. I am a body work specialist. So I said alright, let's get this wisdom and see what happens.
And this, to me, is the answer for many of us who moved away from "day jobs". We don't want to do something that's not aligned, we know we have tons of skills and these gifts and all of this. For so many of us, the next step in our development is to humble ourselves and lean into the curiosity and really set ourselves up with a foundation of knowledge, wisdom, experience, and credentials, so that no matter what happens in "industry", we'll be good to go. No matter where we go, no matter what A.I. does, whatever happens, we'll have the skills, experience, and clients to have our own thing again, but with real confidence that only comes through experience. Don't let that spiritual ego and avoiding the physical world and industry convince you that you're too good for a day job. It's a tool. Let the tool help, and then once the tool is not needed, change the tool. Or don't, you never know. Maybe it'll be an adjustment later on, and maybe leaning on that support is what really lets you build your business and have the training wheels to ensure long term stability.. Just sharing what's coming to mind. I hope this is helpful to someone.
